MINUTES OF THE BOARD 

HISTORIC PUEBLO, INC 

NOVEMBER 10, 2015 

CALL TO ORDER 

SECRETARY REPORT: no changes needed to October Board Minutes 

TREASURER’S REPORT:  No changes in regular bank account except for the $1,000 donated to 5 museums to offset their admission loss on Museum Free Day, November 15th.  Other accounts are fluid as funds are being raised and deposited. 

MEMBERSHIP REPORT: N/A 

OLD BUSINESS 

MEMBERSHIP MEETING: Corinne requested that everyone report or email the notice of the upcoming meeting on November 19th. Lori will bring a veggie tray, wine and napkins, Lisa will bring a cheese tray and wine, Laurel will bring wine. 

HOMES ON COLORADO: Amy Scoby will spearhead the salvage removal of the Colorado Victorians on Friday, November 20th.  Lisa and Laurel will be available to assist.  Salvage will be stored in Amy’s mother’s garage and storage area at 2422 3rd Avenue.  Amy has purchased two doors for $150.00.  Laurel will try to price check salvage doors. 

STAINED GLASS IN STORAGE:  Laurel will ask Cindy if she would be willing to sell the pieces at her store on consignment.  These are now stored in Amy’s garage. 

HISTORY CONNECTIONS:  The museum free day on November 15th has been broadcast all over town.  It seems to have a good reception.  The Goodnight Barn Committee will be presenting their Charles Goodnight pictures on Monday, November 16 at 2pm.  The Chieftain will be there to cover the presentation. 

HOLIDAY PARTY – plans are still ongoing for the February party. 

CF&I DOCUMENTARY:  The fundraiser has raised $137,000 so far.  They need a total of $221,000. 

GOODNIGHT BARN: The committee is waiting on David Lytle to prepare the corporate documents.  Laurel is working with the grant writer to get end of the year funding requests out soon. Corinne will call Bill Zwick to tell him who she is requesting funds from so that we don’t overlap.  Laurel is looking into Kickstarter to fund the future grants.

The slate has been set and will be presented for vote next Thursday, November 19th: 

President – Corinne

Secretary - Laurel 

Treasurer – Lori 

At Large: Eric Bernauer, Diana Bernauer, Amy Scoby, Kristy Fargher 

AUDIT AND 990 – Eric has filed the 990 and we are trying to set a date with Kyle Laws, CPA to go over what we need to do to keep our finances legal.
