DAVID R.G. WEBB

David was last year's Vice President and has taken over the President's position for 2011. He currently is a REALTOR® with RE/MAX of Pueblo and has been a member of Pueblo's Historic Preservation Commission since 2011. He is also a volunteer with the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office. David grew up in Pueblo and graduated from Central High School. After high school, he attended the University of Southern Colorado (now CSU-Pueblo) before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He served aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Nimitz, and was fortunate enough to visit several countries around the world. This permitted him to experience cultures outside of our great country.
After the Navy, he lived and worked lived outside of Colorado for almost ten years. In 2000, he return to Colorado, where he was employed with Comcast Cable Communications in Denver. In 2005, he chose to move from Denver back to Pueblo in order to be closer to his family. For the last three years of his employment with Comcast, he commuted daily from Pueblo to Denver. While it made for long days, it was worth it in order to live in the wonderful city of Pueblo.
He and his wife, Nicole, live in a historic Landmarked 1900 Queen Anne Victorian home which they are continually bringing back to the glory of its past. They are also working to continually discover more about those who have lived in the house over the past 111 years. History is a passion of David's, and he plans on being with Historic Pueblo, Inc. for a long time in order to contribute to the revitalization of Pueblo.

VICE PRESIDENT
|
NICOLE WEBB
|
Nicole Webb moved to Colorado in 1990 from the neighboring state of Wyoming. Loving antiques all her life, she spent many hours cleaning the old family homes in her native town of Douglas, Wyoming. The beautiful architecture, the incredible decorating, and the history of its people has always brought her much joy. She met her husband, David, in Denver in 2005, and he brought her to Pueblo. She fell in love with its rich cultures, strong history, and beautiful homes. Nothing is more peaceful than sitting in the rocking chair on the front porch and thinking about how many residents before you have done the same thing. History teaches us many things. All you have to do is listen to it.
Nicole is currently employed by Comcast, and travels to Denver daily but loves the lights of Pueblo when she comes around the bend of I-25. She shares a 1900 Victorian home with her husband and their three furry babies, Eunice, Bernice and Isabella.

MEMBER AT LARGE

CAROL KEMSKI
|
Carol was born and raised in Colorado - but spent the majority of her adult life living in the San Francisco Bay area of California. Her work background is in California Labor Law Enforcement, developing and analyzing work place legislation. At the same time she was a liaison to the California State Legislature in the area of worker's rights. Shortly after, as a Program Manager for California OSHA, she was instrumental in developing and implementing new state wide worker safety programs.
Family priorities caused her to return to Pueblo where she has been the past few years.
Carol has always been interested in the arts and music as well as history. Her grandparents worked in the coal mines in southern Colorado and were present at the famous "Ludlow Massacre" in the early 1900's where Colorado Militia were called in to control striking coal miners and their families, and resulted in the fiery deaths of workers and their families. Having been raised in this type of background has lead Carol to be ever diligent at protecting the rights of workers and employees, as well as honoring our ancestors and remembering our past. Particularly those ancestors who died for the rights that we all enjoy today. Working with Historic Pueblo is the perfect way to help save local historical sites, while honoring the lives and history of those who have
gone before us and made our path so much easier!
Carol just bought her first home in Pueblo - a cozy little south side abode built right after the war years in 1948, and hopes to receive her Historic
Resource Plague dated 1948 this year!!!
